New Timeline
We have talked about the process of adoption being a journey with many ups and downs. We received an email this past week with the new adoption timeline for the DR Congo. We knew the wait time for other families was getting longer so we were just waiting on the official word from our agency. Once again, change!
When we started the adoption process in January, we thought we would be home with our son by Christmas. With changes in our government and the Congolese government, the wait times have increased. We have a new goal of May 2014 now. We know that this is a goal that we have in mind because the Lord knows the exact time that Camden will join our family. As a mommy, I was sad to hear of the news because I long for him to be here with us. Then, I quickly turn to thanking the Lord for our precious son, His perfect timing, His teaching us during this wait, and the work He is doing in our children's lives through this adoption. We will continue to TRUST the Lord during this journey.
