Naming our Son

Yes, we finally have a name for our son.  I take very serious the responsibility of naming a child because they will be stuck with it the rest of their life.  Lol!  The kids have been calling him "Cam" all this time because that was the name of the first boy that we didn't receive his referral.  They talk about "Cam" all the time like where he will sit in the car, at the kitchen table, and what sports he will play.  I like the name "Cam" but wanted something a little different.

I asked our parents and other family members to give us a list of names that they liked.  We compiled the list of about 40 names and had Landon, Macy, and Brady to pick the top 3 names they liked from the list.  (that was a funny process)  Of course, Jason and I had the last say but they didn't know that!  Lol!  :)

After several more weeks of talking and praying through the names, we decided on Camden James Allison.  We love it and think that it will fit him perfectly from the pictures that we have received of him.  In the last month, we have received 4 more pictures of him.  We also found out that 2 weeks ago our dossier (paperwork) went to the Congolese court system and we should hear from the court's decision in about 2 months.  More waiting!  Thank you for being with us, praying for us, and encouraging us on this journey to Camden James!  :)
