Easter Egg Hunt

The church had their annual Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon at a local park. We had around 35 children that participated this year. Landon and Daddy are working on a craft in the first picture. Landon chose the color of paper (notice the orange) and folded it while Daddy put it through the holes. They did a great job!

Then, we had the Easter story with Landon shouting "Hosanna!" when he heard her say it in the story. So cute!!!

Landon had a blast hunting eggs. He got the hang of it pretty quick. He screamed and yelled out while running down the hill to get to the eggs. I wish I had that face on camera. We had so much fun! We look forward to Easter Sunday!

Spring Days

We are happy that we are not getting any snow or ice this week. It has been in the 50s and 60s the last few days. Great weather for running with Landon and playing outside! We spent almost 2 hours outside this morning shooting basketball, kicking the ball, and riding our bikes. He shot basketball for 45 minutes solid. Talk about determination and dedication! Here he is letting me know that he is #1 . . .

After playing in the front yard, we decided to head to the walking track behind our house and ride bikes. He loved riding his bike around the track all by himself. I have a feeling this is something that will be a daily activity for him. He wanted to tell everyone "hello" and "wuv you!"

Bath Time

Landon didn't get his bath last night because we played volleyball late at the church. We took his bath this morning and he was a little confused about why we weren't getting his "jammies" on! He is a little guy that likes routinue (his Mommy is so proud) so we are working on being flexible. (something that Mommy needs to work on also) He loves to shoot his "tree" basketballs, squirt his "bab" (crab), float his Elmo, and throw his "mama duck!" Enjoy!!!

Can You Hear Me?

Landon enjoys talking on the phone every once and awhile. Tonight, he wanted to tell Nana about his adventures this weekend. He talked for about 5 minutes telling stories, laughing at himself, and answering questions. Here is a little of the conversation . . .

Football Time in Tennessee

With the Vols and Lady Vols doing so well in Basketball this season, we couldn't help but think about the future success of the Tennessee Volunteers Football team. Landon wanted to get in the spirit of football a little early this year. While Jason was putting on his jersey for his basketball game, Landon asked him "where me jersey?" I told him that we would get his jersey that Memaw and Pops got him for Valentine's Day! He was so proud to have his own jersey just like Daddy's.

Landon's Room

Since Landon has taken down most of the other things on his wall, we decided to go a different route. We bought this great wall-art kit from Target last week. You just peel them off and stick them to the wall. He loves them and tells us each sport when entering the room. Very different look for not much work!
When I woke Landon up from his nap, he was reading Jesus and the Twelve Dudes. He points to Jesus every time and makes sure that you know who he is in the book.

Landon wanted his picture taken one more time with the "bear." The bear likes to do many things with Landon like shooting basketball, bowling, reading books, eating crackers, and even going potty on the big boy potty. He hasn't talked us into giving the bear any M&M's for going potty YET!!!
