Blue's Clues

One of Landon's favorite shows right now is Blue's Clues. He can sit and watch the whole show. He now knows all the little songs that Joe and Blue sing together. He might even grow up to be the next star of Blue's Clues. Watch his hand motions because he is doing exactly what Joe is doing! So cute . . .

Little Drummer Boy

Landon is an all-around guy that likes sports, reading books, drawing, and anything musical. Jason and I will take credit for his love and enthusiasm for all sports. We have no idea where his musical abilities come from because we have none. Don't get me wrong, we love to sing around the house and in the car but just do it for fun. Landon loves anything that makes music. He plays the guitar (as seen in previous posts), the drums, the kazoo, and the horn. This is a wonderful demonstration of his passion for music and singing. Again, he loves the camera and knows it is all about him! Enjoy!

Our Diaper Dandy

We went to Jason's Men's Church League basketball game tonight. Landon loves watching them and playing with the guys during halftime. We also know that after Jason's games, Landon will come home and play basketball the rest of the night. Here are a few videos of him showing off his 2-year old skills . . .

In the words of Dick Vitale, "He is a Diaper Dandy for sure!" We watch Sportscenter all the time and can't wait to see Landon on the Top Ten Plays!

The Real Guitar Hero

After being stuck inside yesterday because of snow and ice, we decided to go out to eat for supper. We asked Landon, "Where do you want to go eat?" His response was, "pizza!" Just in the last few weeks, he has decided that he likes eating pizza. We ate at Fazoli's for supper and had a bowl of Lucky Charms for dessert. He is doing great eating out of a cereal bowl especially when watching basketball on TV.

Landon received this guitar for his birthday and plays it all the time! Usually when he plays the guitar, one of us has to play the drums for back-up. He has all the cool moves from other drummers and a few of his own. Enjoy the video . . .

Warming Up

He knows that after we run we have to stretch. So, any time that he runs around the house, he will get down and stretch his little legs. Hilarious!

Haircut

Landon finally went in for a haircut yesterday after 3 months. You can imagine what it looked like down in his eyes and thick. He did a great job with the hairdresser. She told him to look in the mirror and tell her what he thinks about his haircut. He turned around, sat up straight, and smiled a big smile! He knew he looked great! Of course, Mommy was there telling him the whole time how handsome he looked. Here are a few poses he took for us . . .

Valentine's Party

Landon had a Valentine's party at church this past Sunday. We found cards on sale after Valentine's Day. He signed his name on all of them, helped me fold them, and put the sticker to close them. He did a great job! He got lots of goodies from his Sunday School teachers and friends. Mommy and Daddy got to partake of a few M&M's and Kisses. For those that want to know, Landon did get a few pieces of candy! Fun times!

Let it Snow!

Getting Started

Well, we finally decided to construct a blog to journal our life with Landon and the process of adopting our daughter from China. The blog is an easy way to let our friends and family watch Landon grow up! Now, this means that I have to take more pictures of our adventures but it will be tons of fun!
